+ Basic Kaboom Beach Rules +
• No screening: Any player from the serving team cannot prevent seeing the server and flight of path of the ball.
• Service order remains the same throughout the set.
• No attack-hit on a serve when the ball is higher than the top of the net.
• No Open Hand Receiving a Serve
• Overhand pass/set over must be square to shoulders both forward and backwards.
• No attack-hits using an open-handed finger action. Fingertips need to be rigid and together.
• No Net Touching
• Rally Scoring: All teams will play all 3 sets:
First 2 sets to 21 & cap of 23. 3rd set to 15 & cap of 17. Teams switch after every 7 points, last game every 5 points.
• Each team gets one 30 second time-out per set.
• No subs allowed in playoffs, only roster players.
• HAVE FUN


+ Single Elimination Format for Top Teams for Playoffs+
• Higher seed will have honors of choice of the right to serve, receive, or pick side to play.
Lower seed gets to pick from what's left.
• Top teams for playoffs will play best 2 out of 3 sets to 21/cap 23, 21/cap 23, and 15/cap 17.
The teams switch after every 7 points (Sets 1 and 2) and 5 points (Set 3) played.
